• Why does your work stand out from other Home Stagers?​ I have received my ASP (Accredited Staging Professional) designation from www.stagedhomes.com; the only organization that gives an accreditation and it was created by Barb Schwarz, the creator of Home Staging. I have seen homes staged by those without this accreditation and the quality of work lacks.

  • What do you like most about home staging?​  I have a passion for going into a project and telling the homeowners what needs to be done to sell their home, I am gifted with a natural eye for it. I love seeing the before and after, it gives me a great sense of accomplishment. The homeowners love it because their home shows very well and gives them an advantage over other homes listed in their area. I also do redesign as well, which is helping the homeowner decorate their home for living.

  • If you were a client, what do you wish you knew about home staging? Any inside secrets you want to share? Staging your home is depersonalizing and decluttering. Staging is different from decorating. Decorating is personalizing - staging is depersonalizing. By depersonalizing your home I make it appeal to the broadest range of buyers.

  • What advise do you have for a client looking to hire a home stager?  I would advise them to check the credentials and references of the consultant they are considering to employ. Be sure they are an ASP (Accredited Staging Professional), some stagers have not been trained and are not professionals. Remember that staging your home is an investment. You want to receive the greatest return on that investment by hiring a professional, not an amateur or someone that does staging for a hobby. 

  • And what is that investment return?  The return on your investment is: 1) A shorter amount of time on the market, which saves you in dollars spent on maintaining your current home 2) You receive the highest price you can list for 3) Staging is a small fraction of what your first price reduction would be.

  • What is your pricing? I have set prices for consultations based on the square footage of your home. You may contact me to receive the consultation rates via text, phone or email. I am unable to give quotes over the phone for staging. Your property must be viewed and evaluated just as a realtor would come in and evaluate it for you to receive a listing price.

  • Once your services are complete, do you guarantee that the home will sell for more money and faster?

    I cannot guarantee how quickly your home will sell or what price to list it for, listing price is the job of your Realtor. But statistics show that Staged Homes do sell quicker and can sell for more money. See statistics at www.stagedhomes.com.
